Session 1:  Friday     27th January:   Warmup 15:00, cheapest Meet starts: 16:15.

Session 2:  Saturday 28th January:   Warmup 08:00, sildenafil Meet starts: 09:15. 

IPC Session: To be announced.

Session 3:  Saturday 28th January:   Warmup 15:00, troche Meet starts: 16:30. 

Session 4:  Sunday   29th January:   Warmup 08:00, Meet starts: 09:15. 

Session 5:  Sunday   29th January:   Warmup 13:30, Meet starts: 15:00.

Invitation to the Reykjavik International Games

Reykjavik International has been held every year since 1989 in the Laugardalur Swimming Pool. Many foreignswimmers have found their way to Iceland and participated in the meet during the years.

Swimmers from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Fareo Island, Germany, Russia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, USA have visited Iceland and participated in Reykjavik International.

Experienced international referees have been invited to conduct the technical part of the Reykjavik International is now held for the 9. time in the 50x25m indoor pool which was opened in January 2005 and together with the city of Reykjavik we will for the sixth time welcome sports participants to a multisport competition in Laugardalur, the Valley of Sport. Swimming is one of the biggest events of the games.

 

Participation in the Reykjavik International Games also gives you a great opportunity to plan a training camp for your team before or after the competition. We can assist you getting training times and accommodation.

The competition is open to all swimmers and it will have the following age categories:

Age categories

Junior

Senior

Male

Born 2002 or later

Born 2001 or earlier

Female

Born 2002 or later

Born 2001 or earlier



 

 

Iceland – "the land of Fire and Ice" – has a lot to offer for its visitors. Among the popular tourist attractions is the Blue LagoonReykjavík City combines the qualities and comforts of a modern urban city and the intimate connection to amazingly beautiful nature. The city is both vibrant in cultural life and boasts short distances to natural surroundings. The world’s northernmost capital is framed by the majestic Mt. Esja, which keeps a watchful eye on the city, and the blue waters of Faxaflói Bay. On a sunny day, the mystical Snæfellsjökull glacier appears crystal-like and baby-blue on the western horizon, while mountainous moonscapes spread to the southeast.

The Reykjavik International Games - swim competition starts today, try Friday at Laugardalslaug swimming pool.

The swim competition schedule is as follows:

Friday January 16th afternoon session: 16:15 - 19:00
Saturday January 17th morning session: 09:15 - 12:00
Saturday January 17th afternoon session: 17:00 - 19:00
Sunday January 18th morning session: 09:15 - 12:00
Sunday January 18th afternoon session: 16:00 - 18:00

The swim competition is run on Splash software and the event program and results can be viewed in the SplashMe mobile app that is available in the AppStore for Apple mobile devices and in Google Play for Android mobile devices. Live results will be available as well (see above).
